Why I Started Painless AI Lab in 2026 – A Hong Kong Guy’s Real AI Journey

Hi, I’m Chris, just a normal guy from Hong Kong. Over the past year, I decided to turn a new page in my life. I started quietly learning, using AI in my daily work and personal investing. Like many of you, I quickly got frustrated with two things:

• AI tutorials that sound amazing but are hard to apply in real daily life.
• Too much data, information and too many tools, but almost no honest, practical guidance that actually works in Hong Kong’s  environment or overesas as well. 

So, what is AI in simple terms?

To me, AI can take huge amounts of raw data and turn it into useful information, helping us make better predictions and decisions. I believe in the near future, AI will become a kind of super intelligence that goes beyond human capability in many areas.

For example:

• Data = stock prices, supplier quotes, financial reports, market trends…
• AI = It can quickly analyze thousands of data points and tell you things like “This stock has a 78% chance of going up in the next 3 months” or “This supplier has a high risk of delay.”

AI doesn’t replace human judgment — it amplifies it. I’m not an AI expert, and I’m definitely not a financial advisor. I’m just someone who hates complicated things and wants to use AI in the simplest, most practical way possible — for investing, building small tools, improving efficiency, and eventually growing my own business. Why am I sharing all this publicly? Mainly to hold myself accountable and to learn from my own mistakes. I will never give any investment advice. I only record my real thoughts, my decisions, and the actual results (good or bad). The market is brutal, but I believe that by analyzing data better and staying disciplined, I can become a more mature investor. Most importantly, I hope my experience can help others avoid making the same mistakes I made. This is why I created Painless AI Lab.

為什麼我在 2026 年創立「無痛 AI 實驗室」—— 一個香港人的 AI 實戰成長紀錄

大家好，我是 Chris，一個在香港土生土長的普通人。過去一年，我決定為自己的人生翻開新的一頁，開始認真學習和應用 AI，用在日常工作和個人投資上。跟很多香港人一樣，我很快就遇到兩個很煩的問題：

• 市面上的 AI 教學永遠講得天花龍鳳，但實際用起來很多都唔切實。
• 資訊多到爆炸，工具又多到眼花，但真正有用、適合香港環境、老老實實的分享卻好少。

那麼，AI 到底係乜？簡單嚟講：AI 可以將大量原始數據轉化成有用資訊，幫我們做出更好的預測同決定。我相信唔久的將來，AI 會變成一種超級智能，在很多方面超越人類。舉例嚟講：

• 數據 = 股價、供應商報價、公司財報、市場趨勢……
• AI = 佢可以快速分析成千上萬筆資料，然後告訴你「呢隻股未來 3 個月上升嘅機會大約 78%」，或者「呢個供應商延遲交貨嘅風險好高」。

AI 唔會取代人類嘅判斷，但可以大大加強我哋嘅判斷力。我唔係 AI 專家，亦唔係投資顧問。我只係一個討厭複雜事物、希望用最簡單、最實際方法去用 AI 嘅普通人——用嚟投資、做小工具、提升效率，同埋將來發展自己嘅生意。點解我要公開分享？最主要係想逼自己更有紀律，同埋從每次錯誤中學習。我絕對唔會提供任何投資建議，我只係記錄自己真實嘅思考過程、同埋決定背後嘅代價。金融市場好殘酷，但我相信透過更好嘅數據分析同紀律執行，我可以變得更加成熟。最重要嘅係，我希望自己嘅經驗可以幫到其他人，避免重蹈我嘅覆轍。正因為咁，我創立咗 無痛 AI 實驗室（Painless AI Lab）。
